Pros and Cons of The Apple Smartwatch
Apple isn’t the only major mobile technology company to come up with the idea of a smartwatch (we’re looking at you, Samsung), and while many are excited about this new advancement, we think it is still important to do some research before running out and buying the latest trendy technology. Below we’ll list some pros and cons of the Apple Smartwatch.
PRO: The average person glances at their smartphone over a dozen times per day. Something 
like a smartwatch would be more convenient and could offer quick notifications for busy professionals that are constantly on the move, like doctors for example.
CON: The smartwatch can cost up to $800. For the majority of us, this isn’t exactly a realistic price point, we’d probably rather buy a nice regular watch for an eighth of the price and stick to our smart phones without needing to mesh the two together.
PRO: When it comes down to it, a smartwatch is cool. It’s interesting, it’s new, and this sort of 
“shiny object” effect may not last long, but for the time being, it wouldn’t hurt to have something really cool to show off at dinner parties or at the office – after all, you only live once.
CON: Many people are confused about the exact function of the smartwatch. It doesn’t have all the functions of an iPhone for example, but it does have the core functions such as apps and communication features, but can it replace an iPhone completely? At this stage, probably not.
PRO: Perhaps core functions are really all you’re looking for from this device, in which case, 
you’re all set. With a microphone and speaker, you’ll have no problem at all in making a quick phone call or even take part in a video call, similar to Apple’s face time feature.
CON: Size and weight are a general concern – is it too big to look like a regular watch, but too small to read anything off of? Is it too heavy to wear on my wrist all day? What if it’s too bulky and just gets in the way? We’d recommend at least trying on the smartwatch before actually buying it.
