Here at Developweb, we are constantly learning, researching and updating our skills to keep current in the design world and better serve our clients! This is crucial to designers in any field. A great way to stay informed, inspired and share knowledge is by attending conferences and workshops. Fortunately for us, the Interlink Conference is held annually in the first week of June in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Interlink is a small boutique conference run by Sean Johnson created for web professionals of all sorts. This year’s lineup will include two exciting jam-packed days of talks, workshops, networking, knowledge inundation, food and dodge ball!
June 5th kicks off at 9am with six, 3 hour jam packed knowledge sessions; 3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon, with industry names such as Steve Fisher, Stephanie Hay, and Kitt Hodsden. On June 6th you’ll be hearing from 8 of the industry’s top voices in a full day of Inspiration, sharing, learning and empowerment! Starting at 9am and concluding at 5:15pm, each 45 minute talk touch on a colorful array of topics and strategies to help craft a better web. This year;s exciting lineup includes Aaron Draplin, Geri Coady, Dave Shea and more. All talks are included in the conference pass (workshops are sold separately). Let’s be honest, we all love extras!
Come out the night before the action for the Shop Talk 7pm Tuesday June 4th at a local coffee shop (TBA). This is your opportunity to meet with the Interlink crew and fellow conference goers. Chat, network, exchange and get to know each other over a cup of java in a relaxed, casual setting.
Did we mention there’s Dodge ball?? Join the fun at 7pm on Wednesday June 5th. Included in your pass, conference goers are permitted to bring two guests to add to the fun! Kick off the conference with a fun and exciting icebreaker and show off your throwing arm while you’re at it.
What better way to conclude a weekend of learning and fun then an After Party? Festivities begin at 7pm Thursday June 6th at Steam works Brew Pub.
